Advent Calendar Grossarl
Waiting for Christ's Child to arrive is sweetened a bit with the advent calendar at the Salzburg Mountain Advent. Students create theirs in which ever way they like.
Spread around the entire town center of Grossarl there are a total of 24 advent doors to be opened. One door is opened every day at 5 p.m, at which point a piece of handiwork made by the Grossarl school children appears. You and the locals are sure to experience a few surprises - the children create the calendar with their own imagination.
Each piece of work is put up in the beautiful town. Spotlights shine upon the advent doors for you to see during your walk through the advent market.The only thing more impressive is the parish church on the hill over the town center.
