Wildlife Feeding in the Grossarl Valley
During the Salzburg Mountain Advent in the Grossarl valley you can also participate in wildlife feeding in Huettschlag. Watch the shy animals with the entire family.
The wildlife feeding at the Salzburg Mountain Advent in the Grossarl valley will prove to be a wonderful experience. It is located at the Talwirt in Huettschlag. The owners have set up a 5 hectare park for wildlife. The entire family is invited to stroll through the area to pet and feed the animals. Get an up-close look at the animals in the wild.
The community of Huettschlag and the beautiful valley end can be reached by car. However, an even more beautiful experience is a winter walk through the freshly fallen snow in the mountain valley. You can also take a romantic sleigh ride to the wildlife feeding area. The Talwirt offers great programs on the weekends during advent (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The wildlife feeding can be done between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on the same days.
