Sleigh Ride in Grossarltal

Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday horse-drawn carriage rides are offered at the Advent Market from

4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A sleigh ride is a highlight for guests of all ages at the Salzburg Mountain Advent in the Grossarltal. Bundle yourself up in cuddly blankets and ride through the wonderful advent market. The ride leads you out of Grossarl to the beautiful, snowy landscape. The Christmas spirit is sure to follow you.

A horse-drawn carriage ride at the end of the valley in Hüttschlag is a wonderful experience. Here you can enjoy the idylllic nature at the beginning of the Hohe Tauern national Park until the Ötzlsee.

To warm up you can get some tea and local delicacies in the Talwirt, the Aschaustüberl or the Hüttschlager Bauernladenstüberl.

At the Talwirt you can also visit the exhibition "Mountain Forest" and the Krampus exhibition with many masks as well as the story of St. Nicholas. Or you can immerse yourself in the stories of the Old and a New Testament on the "Bibelweg" at the Hüttschlager Bauernstüberl.
