St. Johann in Pongau. Upon arrival in St. Johann, turn off the main road at the junction in direction Grossarl and follow this road to the town.

Arrival by train:
Take the train from the Salzburg Main Station to St. Johann im Pongau. Once you have arrived there, take the bus number 540 to Grossarl or Huettschlag in the Grossarl valley. You may ask your hotel for a written statement for reduced bus fare.
Arrival by plane:
You land at the Salzburg airport. There are many affordable airlines that fly to this airport. With a rental car, you can continue your journey by following the "arrival by car" directions. You
may also choose to continue by train or take a bus or taxi to the Grossarl valley.
